Britnie's Christmas

We’ve decorated the kids rooms, and painted most of the house in colors that we like, but we’ve never touched our room or our bathroom.  Britnie has always wanted a beach feel in the bathroom, wanting it to be a place to relax while she takes a bath.  So for Christmas this year I painted the bathroom and bedroom, then I added some decorations to make everything a little less plain.

We had some avocado green towels, they’ve been replaced by nice new bright white towels that Britnie hunted down at 3 a.m. on black Friday.

New pictures of the kids at the beach and a new clock.

A family tree with pictures.

New candles on the wall and lights strung behind the headboard.  These two walls haven’t been painted yet.  I kind of like the two tones and so we’re still deciding whether to finish it off.

I love the colors! That blue is one of my favorites. I really like the family tree in your room too. Great idea.

I love the colors also, but am especially fond of the family tree. I have been trying to figure our how to do it with our ever growing family, but can’t come up with a solution.

You could easily do it with just names. Or make it about twice the size and do family pictures that are traded out whenever someone has a baby.

The room is beautiful. It is so calming. I, too, love the family tree. Great work.
