Ice Cream 1

All my ice Cream recipes went down the drain when the site crashed.  My mom mentioned she wanted to use one so I’m going to combine all those posts and put them up again here.  If the instructions don’t say anything about cooking, I didn’t cook them.

Creamy Orange

2 C Orange Juice
3/4 C Sugar
1/2 C Whole Milk

1 t lime juice

Two Pepper

2 C Whole Milk
1/2 C Heavy Cream
1 1/2 C Dr. Pepper
3/4 C Sugar
1 T vanilla
1/2 t cayenne pepper

Blueberry Cheesecake

1 1/2 C Whole Milk
1 C half-and-half
1 C sugar
1/4 C brown sugar
2 t vanilla
1/2 C blueberries
1 C cream cheese
1/4 C whatever you like to use as crust on a cheesecake, I used graham crackers
4 eggs

Bring the milk, half-and-half and vanilla to a boil with the blueberries. Take out the blueberries and slowly pour half of the milk mixture in with the eggs. Don’t let the eggs cook. Pour that mixture back in the pot with the rest of the milk. Let that simmer for a bit. Then pour that with the remaining stuff into a mixer and make it nice and airy. Then throw it in your ice cream maker. Crumble up the graham crackers and toss them along with the blueberries into the ice cream maker toward the end.

Eggnog

5 eggs
1 C sugar
2 C half-and-half
1 C Whole milk
1 t vanilla
3/4 t nutmeg
